Histiocytosis Walk-A-Thon

Taking Steps to Find a Cure

Where: Millersville University, Biemesderfer Stadium and Chryst Field

When: Saturday, April 17th, 2010 at 10AM
Cause: All proceeds benefit the Histiocytosis Association of America (HAA)
Why: Celebrate Brayton’s one year post bone marrow tranplant and help take steps to find a cure.
Forms of payment: Cash & Checks: Make checks payable to the HAA and in the memo section please write "Brayton's Walk-A-Thon"
 
All the research to find a cure done by the HAA is all done on donations. There is no government funding. The parents of Brayton Martin coupled with College Republicans, Student Senate, Early Childhood Organization, and Circle K organizations at Millersville University are hosting a Walk-A-Thon to honor Brayton and to help raise money for more research into these rare diseases. How can you help?
  • Download the sponsor form and get people to sponsor you to walk in the Walk-A-Thon. Come to the Walk-A-Thon with your sponsor's donations and form and walk with us! The walk is three miles and you can walk, jog, or run at your own pace. We welcome walkers of all ages! There will be bottled water available for all walkers. There will be a DJ to play some music, balloons for the kids, and prizes will be handed out at the end. Brochures will be available to learn about what the HAA does and the diseases they research.

  • Just show up and walk with us! You can participate in the walk with just a $10 donation.
